What are your business hours?

We’re open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday. Flexible drop-off and pick-up times are available to fit your schedule.

Can I bring my pet’s food and toys?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your pet’s regular food and belongings to make them feel at home. Items like toys, blankets, and beds can reduce anxiety. Please label all items with your pet’s name.

What vaccinations are necessary for boarding?

Current vaccinations are required for all pets. Dogs need rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella. Cats need rabies, feline distemper, and feline leukemia. Bring vaccination records at check-in.

Is there an outdoor play area?

Due to the many risks of outdoor play, including heat exhaustion, escapism, etc., Fish Tails does NOT have an outdoor area. Our facility has an air filtration system that pulls air from outside into the play rooms. This makes the play areas smell like outside to the dogs. Dogs in our care are able to eliminate in the play rooms, be it on the floor or on the potty area. Eliminations are cleaned promptly with enzyme cleaners as well as sterilizers, so all dogs remain safe! This will not cause any problems with potty training—the dogs correlate the smell of the environment with outdoors!

Will my dog go on walks?
At this time, Fish Tails cannot allow owners to sign their dog up for a walk. Dogs will be given plenty of time for exercise in the play rooms, with other dogs and with people! It is our goal to be able to provide this service in the future. BOARDING dogs staying MORE than 5 nights may be offered short walks, if available. Owners MUST sign a waver at drop off.
